May 2008 - BrittHay Buys New Office/Warehouse
Because of phenomenal growth and potential to expand even further, Britthay has moved into larger premises. They are now the proud owners of a 1,200 sq.ft office with adjoining 5,000 sq.ft warehouse and convenient loading bay. Their prime location off North Sound Road on the outskirts of the Island's capital, George Town, makes it handy for staff and service vehicles.
Because of their expanded work load, BrittHay's fleet now consists of 14 Mitsubishi L300 service vans and a Daihatsu Delta flatbed tipper truck to facilitate deliveries to their many job sites.
New Team Players
BrittHay employs approximately 70 people with Caymanians making up the majority of their work force.
BrittHay apprentice, Mario Dinnali, has been awarded an in-house scholarship and has enrolled in the electrical course at the University College of the Cayman Islands.
Taking Mario's place is a former John Grey work experience student, Oshane Brown, who will be joining the BrittHay team when he graduates this year. Oshane got a taste for the trade last summer after spending two months with BrittHay's leading service technician Nigel Clarke.
BrittHay Expands in the Caribbean
In 2007 and 2008 Britthay carried out substantial works in the Turks and Caicos Islands on the private Island of Ambergris Cay; generation plant, high voltage infrastucture and fire alarms.

Karen Lawrence Joins BrittHay Team
BrittHay employs close to 50 people with Caymanians making up the majority (70%) of their work force. In April 2006 they created a separate accounts department under the management of Karen Lawrence, a 10-year veteran in banking and mutual funds administration. Karen had her fill of the corporate world and was ready for the challenge of establishing new controls at BrittHay. In May Karen traveled to their affiliate company's New Jersey office to receive training in their new CAMIS accounting programme. A stickler for balanced books and accurate accounting records, Karen has already earned the nickname "Hawkeye" and proved to be an invaluable member of the BrittHay team.
