A Generac generator has earned Gold at the 2026 Consulting-Specifying Engineer (CSE) Product of the Year Awards. The SD3250, a 3.25MW industrial generator, received the top honour in the Power Generation & Electrical Infrastructure category.

The SD3250 is designed for large-scale industrial backup power. Its 3.25-megawatt rating is equivalent to 3,250 kilowatts, placing it well beyond the capacity of a typical home standby generator.
