It's one of the most common questions we hear from businesses across Cayman:


"How long will our UPS keep us running if the power goes out?"


Unfortunately, there isn't a single answer.


A UPS can last anywhere from a few minutes to several hours, depending on the size of the battery system and the amount of equipment connected to it.


But here's the more important point:



A UPS isn't designed to power your building all day.


Its job is to keep critical systems alive long enough for your standby generator to take over or for your team to shut systems down safely.
